Meet Your New Pampered Chef Consultant!

I decided to sign up to be an Independent Pampered Chef Consultant! I'm really excited and I'm hoping that it goes well. I have my first show tonight! So.....if you are interested in hosting a show or even doing a catalog show, especially for my friends in far away places, then let me know! I would be happy and greatful to do it! If you host a show in my first 30 days, before
Nov. 20th, you will get the choice of a Silicone Cranberry Trivet/Hot Pad or the Sweet Cinnamon Sprinkle & Chipotle Rub combination set. If you want to order something just shoot me an email, marciolsen8@msn.com. You can shop online at http://www.pamperedchef.com. As of right now you can't find me as a consultant and I don't know why but I'll ask my director! I would really appreciate your support! No pressure though!

#4

Yep, that's right. This is Makenzi's 4th cast. Last Saturday, (10/10/09), she was at a friend's house, standing on a kid sized table so that she could get a better view of a ball that they were throwing on the roof and watching it roll back to the ground when the other kid who was standing on the table also, jumped off and the table tipped. She caught herself and there you have it, another broken arm. We have an established relationship with an orthopedic surgeon here in Tucson so we just took her straight to him. (On Tuesday morning) I called first thing on Monday but they couldn't see her until Tuesday. She wasn't complaining about the pain or anything but she didn't want to use her right arm to do anything. So $75 co-pay to the ER and have them wrap it and tell us to see the orthopedic or just the $20 co-pay to the orthopedic. Hmmmm. I guess that we are cheap. Anyway, the cast stays on for 4 weeks. She was mostly worried about the color of the cast matching her Halloween costume!

What's A Boy To Do?

I'm sure that you can relate. We were trying to come up with some creative ways to get the kids to sit still and listen during Saturday's sessions of conference. I know that Makenzi enjoys some mani, pedi time and she is usually fairly quiet so I think that it would be a good idea to sit in the vicinity of the TV where we can hear conference and get out the nail polish. Not 5 minutes into it Eli is asking if he can get some blue toe nails. To which I reply that boys don't paint their nails, they do things like play with tools in the garage. A few minutes later he comes back with a car. A hot wheels model of my dad's firebird none the less, and wants to give it some new "stripes".

Then it needs to dry. Right.

Well if you know Eli, there is no way that he can sit still for longer than a few minutes and to get this dryer to work you have to hold down the bottom button. This very creative kid added some polish weights! And there you go, problem solved.
