Yep, that's right. This is Makenzi's 4th cast. Last Saturday, (10/10/09), she was at a friend's house, standing on a kid sized table so that she could get a better view of a ball that they were throwing on the roof and watching it roll back to the ground when the other kid who was standing on the table also, jumped off and the table tipped. She caught herself and there you have it, another broken arm. We have an established relationship with an orthopedic surgeon here in Tucson so we just took her straight to him. (On Tuesday morning) I called first thing on Monday but they couldn't see her until Tuesday. She wasn't complaining about the pain or anything but she didn't want to use her right arm to do anything. So $75 co-pay to the ER and have them wrap it and tell us to see the orthopedic or just the $20 co-pay to the orthopedic. Hmmmm. I guess that we are cheap. Anyway, the cast stays on for 4 weeks. She was mostly worried about the color of the cast matching her Halloween costume!
