Every year a local church organization holds an Easter Egg Hunt for the community. They do a pretty good job at it too, not quite like one that I remember from my childhood days that took place in Lander, WY but almost as good.

The kids get all excited about it. They have a great time. This year Makenzi pointed out to me that the Easter Bunny was dressed up in a costume. It made me sad that she is growing up so quickly. Each kid had a different time slot for their egg hunt. Gavin's was first, he had watched the kids before so he knew just what to do!

Easter Sunday was also General Conference Sunday this year so we invited our friends the Pratt's over to watch conference with us at our house. They provided a yummy breakfrast of English waffels with strawberries and whipped cream. (we also had ice cream on them) They stayed for lunch too. We made the lunch of traditional ham and yummy/cheesy potatoes. Then the kids finally got to decorate Easter eggs.

The boys all took their shirts off to minimize the mess! Gavin had a great time dropping the egg into the die and making a splash!

Makenzi took extra time this year to make sure that her eggs turned out beautiful. She definately has an artistic talent.
