On Tuesday night we went to the ward's trunk-or-treat. Then on Saturday night we went to a Christian church sponsered trunk-or-treat at a local high school. They had jumping castles and this fun hay ride.
This year Makenzi was a Vet, Eli was a Chinese night just like his friend Kevin, and Gavin was Batman. He was so cute running around saying, "Batman to the rescue!" We borrowed a costume for the baby so he was a cute sack of potatoes.
He looks so excited about Halloween!
We carved our pumpkins on Halloween. The boys had a lot of fun playing with the "kid safe" pumpkin carving knives. Gavin thought that he was pretty neat stuff since his parents were letting him play with a knife!
The big kids were excited to carve their own pumpkins this year but it was pretty short lived as it was a lot of work to saw out all of those pieces. Makenzi actually did the majority of her pumpkin all by herself!

It's funny to see your kids in shorts for Halloween. Here the kids had mittens and scarves, umbrellas, and a running car at the end of the driveway.
