July 4th 2011

The 4th of July in AZ is just not that exciting compared to what I grew up with.  Luckily, we have good friends that we got together with for a BBQ!

Right before we were supposed to be leaving to head over to our friends house, the monsoon hit.  And boy did it hit!  Shingles flew off of our roof!  Spencer ran to the hardware store and bought the materials that he needed to replace the missing ones and then he spent 2 hours hammering up there!  My fingers are crossed in hopes that we don't loose any more this monsoon season!
