We had a great Easter! The Easter bunny visited our house on Saturday morning and filled the kid's Easter baskets with various things to put in their "bug-out-bags". The kids were excited because a few weeks ago we began the process of putting together our "bug-out-bags". The kids each have a back pack that they will keep under or near their bed with a change of clothes and other necessities that they might need in the event of a disaster of some sort. I had the opportunity to experience "bugging out" first hand when we lived in Texas during hurricane Rita.
The bunny hid eggs all over the front room! Garet knew just what to do with those eggs!
Then the kids followed the bunny's footprints outside to find a trampoline!
A bit later, after everyone was dressed, we went to SkyWest for an Easter Egg Hunt!
On Saturday night we colored eggs. It is quite an adventure with little boys!

That evening we had some friends over for Easter dinner. I went "all out" and made a bunny cake like my Granny makes every year. The kids loved it!
